There are really no rules. If your a self published author, and wish to promote yourself and your work, publish an article here. Tell everyone a little about your book(s), a little about yourself, or even offer a little insite into how you are promoting your book(s). You can even boast or dog your publisher, if you like.

Self publishing requires a lot of self promotion, and the more promotion that can be done economically(or free) is a good thing. Getting the word out about your work is paramount, as all of your publishers have told you. Use this forum to "just do it" and see if it helps.
